Seasonal Booster Sprays
There are three seasonal formulations of our compost tea booster spray. The winter spray is designed to provide beneficial soil microbes and microbial nutrients. These are applied at a time when the soil organisms are in mostly dormant form. As the soil warms up in the spring, these resources will be there to help activate important symbiotic plant-soil processes.
The spring booster spray is designed for foliar application. It offers plants a protective coat of beneficial microbes along with essential nutrients and natural plant growth promoting substances that provide protection and direct nutritional supplementation at a time when your plants are entering their vegetative growth phase.
The fall booster spray is designed to help prepare both the soil and landscape plants for the oncoming winter. Plant hardening silicates are added to a fungal dominated compost tea to improve soil digestive processes and help harden plants for overwintering.
FiveStar Organic Fertility Management
The FiveStar Program combines our three seasonal compost tea booster sprays with two Willamette Organics General Purpose Organic Fertilizer sprays. These sprays, applied once in early summer and once in late summer offer a nutritional boost to all plants and turf for a complete organic landscape fertility management protocol.
Organic Foundations Program
The surest way to get your soil into optimal condition is through soil chemical balancing. The Organic Foundations program utilizes a 21 point soil chemistry analysis to formulate a custom granular organic soil conditioning blend designed to optimize your soil for organic fertility management. The program includes site mapping, soil testing, granular amendment recommendations and two compost tea booster sprays. Site mapping identifies areas (zones) of the landscape with significantly different soil conditions or plant nutrient requirements.
Soil Testing with Recommendations
Similar to the Organic Foundations program, but without the support of compost tea booster sprays. Site mapping and soil testing afford the home owner or landscape contractor with information critical to efficient organic landscape construction and management. Often, this service is the first and most critical step for a successful transition of organic land care.
Plant health care services include foliar spray and root injections with all organic growth stimulants, plant immunity boosters and beneficial microbes. This service is excellent for poorly performing trees or woody perennial plants.
